Anambra 2021: Soludo Meets With Political Appointees, Seeks Support For APGA To Sustain Good Governance | ONN REPORTS

One of the leading aspirants in the November 6th, Anambra gubernatorial race under the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, has called for teamwork among Anambra state government political appointees, to ensure that APGA emerges victorious in forthcoming poll.

Professor Soludo, a former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, and the Chairman of Anambra Vision 2070, while interacting with political appointees under the present administration, said that the November poll remains critical as it would define both the future of Anambra State as well APGA as a political platform, insisting that the party's defeat in the election would be consequential.

The former CBN boss also stated that all hands must be on deck to retain the governorship seat in the state, stating that Governor Willie Obiano has ignited the light of progress and transformation in the state from where his successor must continue to build the Anambra State of everyone's dreams.

Earlier in a remark, the Secretary to the Government of Anambra State, Professor Solo Chukwulobelu, said that political appointees are a critical part of the process, and crucial to electing the successor to Governor Willie Obiano.

Also speaking, the member representing Anambra East and West at the House of Representatives, Chief Chinedu Obidigwe, said that all members of the party must galvanize efforts, stand firm with one vision and eschew bitterness in order for APGA to be victorious come November this year.

The political appointees who were at the event included Managing Directors and Chief Executive Officers of government agencies and parastatals, Senior Special Assistants (SSAs), Special Assistants (SAs), Executive Assistants (EAs) among others.
