A former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, and frontline stakeholder of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Professor Charles Soludo, has continued his consultations and soliciting the support of major stakeholders of the party. Professor Soludo recently met with APGA Youth and Women Leaders, Ward Chairmen and their Secretaries from the twenty-one Local Government Areas of the State. Receiving the party faithful, the State Chairman of the party, Sir Nobert Obi who spoke through the Secretary, Barrister Tony Ifeanya, said that the November 2021 poll is a challenge that must be surmounted by APGA. He urged party members to remain supportive to the cause of delivering the party’s mandate, urging them to hit the ground running with grassroots mobilization and reconciliation of members to ensure that the party comes out stronger. The member representing Anaocha, Dunukofia and Njikoka Federal Constituency, Honorable Dozie Nwankwo said that Professor Soludo’s intellect and progressive mindedness have been tested and trusted, hence his decision to support him. For the member representing Anambra East and West Federal Constituency, Chief Chinedu Obidigwe, all members of the party must intensify efforts to maintain the brotherliness in the party, stand firm with one vision and eschew bitterness in order for APGA to remain the party to beat at any point in time.
